Lazy Hill Farm Designs began as a hobby for its founder, Betty Baker. As a garden enthusiast and bird lover, Betty designed her handmade houses to complement her own garden and to provide shelter and food for her birds year round. Today, Lazy Hill Farm Designs offers an assortment of handmade garden accessories. All are individually constructed of cedar and cypress and just get better with age. After nine years, the original Lazy Hill House still graces Betty's garden. Our products are made by ladies and gentlemen of Colerain, our small town in North Carolina, who take pride in thier work. The white products have three coats of paint for a long-lasting finish. The rounded cedar shingles are protected with water seal and will weather to a lovely silver gray. The stained products provide a color "wash", while letting the wood grain show through. We've had some customers who choose to paint or stain their bird houses themselves to match their own homes. Our business policy is simple...we make and sell quality garden accessories that we would like to own.
